Fr. Tom is a graduate of Yale Divinity School. Prior to that he was employed as an engineer designing and developing instrumentation and control systems. After graduating from seminary, Fr. Tom continued his training in the Clinical Pastoral Education program at Hartford Hospital. After completing his internship and residency at Hartford Hospital he served as a hospice chaplain for VITAS Healthcare, and then served as the inpatient palliative care chaplain at Yale New Haven Hospital. Fr. Tom currently serves as an attending chaplain in the Emergency Department at Yale New Haven Hospital, while serving as pastor of St. Joseph's.
Fr. Tom also serves as the Christian chaplain at the Southbury Training School, a state run institution for developmentally disabled adults.
Fr. Tom and his wife Yvonne live in Stratford, Connecticut. He has four children and four grandchildren, all residents of Connecticut.
