In the Polish National Catholic Church hearing the Word of God proclaimed and preached is regarded as a sacrament, therefore the ministry of the lay reader, or lector,  is vital in the life of our Church.

Formation is provided for new lectors to help prepare them for this ministry. Resources are provided that include pronunciation guides and background material for each reading.
